Permission-Based Cold Call Script Framework
Opening
- Open with their name (be smiling, good tonality)
- "John?"
- They respond: "Okay, who is this?"
Permission-Based Transition
"Hey, just heads up - this is a cold call, but do you want to give me 30 seconds and I can explain how this is relevant for you?"
If They Say Yes
- Go into your pitch
- Add: "Feel free to interrupt me at any time if this isn't relevant."
- This disarms them and builds trust
Pitch Structure
- Keep it super dialed in
- Focus on one clear value proposition
- Connect to their specific pain point
Call Goal
The entire call should just be to set an appointment. That's it.
After Booking
- Send email and SMS reminders
- Follow up to confirm
Expected Metrics
- Booking rate: 10-20% on pickups/dials
- Many will be busy
- Requires 200+ dials per day for months
Key Mindset
If you have a low yes rate after the pitch:
- Your pitch copy isn't good enough, OR
- Your tonality isn't good enough
It's a volume game - keep iterating on the script and objection handling.
