Cold SMS Setting Script - Website Preview Offer
Opening
"Hey, this is [Name] with [Agency]. You just texted me back about the website preview we put together for your business. You got a quick sec?"
Qualification Question
"Perfect. Just so I'm not wasting your time - are you mainly trying to get more jobs coming in from your website right now, or you just curious to see what we built?"
Branch A - They want more jobs:
"Got it. That's exactly why we built it. Most folks we're talking to are losing a bunch of calls just from weak website pages or slow follow-up and don't realize it. When we walk you through it, you'll see exactly how we'd fix that."
Branch B - Just curious:
"Totally fine. A lot of people start there. When we walk through it, you'll see exactly how things could be changed."
Transition to CTA
"The way this works is I hop on a 15-minute screen share with you and show you how this version of your site would turn more traffic into booked jobs - and what we'd fix on your current site. It's way easier than me trying to explain over the phone."
Book the Appointment
"Let me grab my next couple slots real quick... Cool. I have [Day] at [Time] or [Day] at [Time]. Which one works better for you?"
Collect Info
"Perfect, let me get you locked in. What email should I send the calendar invite to?"
"And sorry, I didn't catch your name earlier?"
"What's your full name so I can put it in right?"
Confirm & Close
"Awesome. Thanks [Name]. You're locked in for [Day] at [Time]. You'll get a calendar invite at that email and a text reminder before the call. Just make sure you're at your computer for those 15 minutes so we can actually screen share while walking through it. Sound good?"
"Perfect. Looking forward to it. Thanks for taking my call - talk soon!"
Key Principles
- Don't pitch the product on the phone - pitch the meeting
- Always ask qualification question to show you respect their time
- Give specific time slots (don't ask "when works for you?")
- Confirm they'll be at a computer for screen share
- Warm, friendly tone throughout
