Step 1: Scrape
- Source: Google Maps with query + location
- Tools: Custom scraper (cheaper) OR Apify / OutScraper
- Target: Home service businesses (lawn care, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
Step 2: Deduplicate
- Dedupe against itself (within the scraped batch)
- Dedupe against existing client lists
- Dedupe against any other active lists
Step 3: Normalize Data
- Company name: Strip "Inc", "LLC", etc.
- Phone number: Standardize format
- Email: Lowercase, trim whitespace
- City/State/Address: Standardize for outreach personalization
Step 4: ICP Filter (Critical for Quality)
Use AI (Gemini, Ollama, or any model) to filter through entire CSV:
- Filter by state/city
- Filter by business category
- Minimum review count threshold
- Must have website? Phone? Email?
- Custom criteria per niche

Step 6: Enrichment

- Technology stack detection: Wappalyzer (browser extension for one-off, API for bulk)
- Detect what CRM, website builder, marketing tools they use
Step 7: Export & Deploy
- Export cleaned list
- Import into cold SMS engine (N8N-based) or Instantly (for email)
- Can import into GHL with proper field mapping
Pro Tip: SMS Copy
- Use state not city in SMS copy — city data from Google Maps is often inaccurate and leads notice
- Verify how many leads have accurate state data in your database headers before sending
