Sales Scripts + Patterns

Permission-Based Pitch (SMS opener)

"Hey {first_name} — saw {business_name} on {source}. Mind if I send over a 30-sec idea for getting you more {outcome}? No pitch, just the idea."

Opt-in rate: higher than direct pitch. Legal: satisfies A2P best-practice expectation.

"Already Built You A Website" Close

Pre-build a lightweight landing/funnel for the prospect BEFORE the call. On the call:

"I actually already built you a rough version to show what I mean — want me to send the link?"

Creates sunk-cost reciprocity. Close rate jumps. Cost per prospect: ~5 min with an Iron Funnels one-shot.

Eugene Katsen 3-Minute Delay

After the automated opt-in confirmation SMS, wait exactly 3 minutes, then send a human-mimicking followup from the same number:

"Btw — is this still the best number for you?"

Reply rate boost: ~3x. Reason: looks like a human typing, breaks the automation pattern-match. (Note: this is Mike's own innovation, stolen by another creator who then popularized it.)

Handling "Not Interested"

Do not argue. One-line exit:

"No worries — if anything changes, here's my number. Good luck with {business_name}."

Logs to not_interested table. Re-approached after 90 days with a different angle. ~4% reactivate.

Discovery Call Frame (Randy / Scott coaching)

  1. Context — "tell me about the business" (3 min)
  2. Pain — "what's the #1 thing slowing growth?" (drill 2 layers deep)
  3. Stakes — "what's it cost you if that doesn't change in 90 days?"
  4. Vision — "if we fixed it, what changes for you personally?"
  5. Path — present solution framed as their words

Price Anchoring

State the highest tier first. Drop. Never go up.

Jeremy Hayes $10M/yr Setter Claim

Noted, skeptical. He claims one AI setter doing $10M/yr on Meta Instant Lead Forms. Worth testing on a small adset, not worth betting the agency on.
